My Name Is Veronica

"My Name Is Veronica" is a book for preschoolers to children of early-elementary.age. It is based on both Scripture and Tradition. It is a story that can be read over and over throughout the year .

This story tells about a day in the life of Veronica, who wiped the face of Jesus as He was walking to Calvary during his Passion. When Veronica sees Jesus, she remembers when she first saw Him - teaching on the mountainside, and entering Jerusalm on Palm Sunday. She remembers His love and mercy, and shows love and mercy to her Lord.
It is Passover, so Veronica has baked bread, prayed the Psalms and got her house in order. It describes what it looked like around Jerusalm with doves, fig trees, dates and palms. Both angry and rejoicing people witness Jesus's walk. Words are used that children hear both at church and in other Bible stories,
