Hannah Fisher loves her life in Faith's Creek. She's an artistic soul who illustrates her father's children's books. Hannah is excited to be asked to plan her sister's wedding. She can't wait for Joanna to return from New York and marry Conrad.

Robin Carlisle is a young, brilliant New York lawyer. He's surprised when his law partner asks him to her traditional Amish wedding. Joanna has always been a dear friend, and he's intrigued by her Amish roots.

Hannah is also intrigued by her sister's New York friends, especially Robin. She feels a spark but doesn't get her hopes up as he'll leave after the wedding.

When a snowstorm leaves Robin stranded in Faith's Creek for the Christmas season, his eyes are opened to the small pleasures in life. The kindness Hannah, her family, and the community show him makes him contemplate what he truly wants his future to look like.
