In this second volume, I'll once again show how you can easily paint and weather some of the most common OO wagons of the 1960s to 1980s to look acceptable on a modern layout, this time even dealing with hopeless cases.

As before, the same basic premise applies; a shiny, unrealistic plastic finish on an otherwise perfectly acceptable model can be elevated in appearance with careful painting and weathering.

In the current financial climate, the option of reusing an existing item at a fraction of the cost of a new item should tick financial and environmental boxes. Why spend £20 or £30 on a new item when an existing item can be bought for £3 and diverted from landfill?

The projects in this book will gradually take you through an increasing number of painting and weathering techniques in each project, building on the techniques from the first volume to further develop your skill set.
