Legend of Single Claw

A story that builds bonds with young people and their families. It is designed to provide an opportunity for parents and grandparents to spend time and read to their children in the way oral storytelling used to be. The children become the heroes in these stories by saving lives and rescuing others from a dangerous bear called Single Claw. Stan Wing lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife of 58 years. They have four children and twelve grandchildren. The stories he wrote were first oral stories that he made up in order to spend time with his children. After over 40 years of spinning these yarns, his family encouraged him to write some of them down. By making the children the heroes in these stories, they were drawn in like bee's to honey. He recommends, when reading them, to change the names to your own children. You'll see the delight in their eyes every time their name is mentioned. This book is a tool for spending time with your children when read to them. It shows them you care enough for them to spend time for just them.
