Once just a frozen tundra, the North Pole, on the surface, is a thriving metropolis. But like so many other communities, appearances are deceiving. Coupled with a recent collapse of the real estate industry, the severe economic downturn put the economy of the North Pole into a deep, and seemingly permanent, freeze.
