This city was largely destroyed near the end of WWII and, as a visitor, you would never know this as so many of the beautiful, Baroque-era buildings have been completely rebuilt. As a visitor, you can marvel at an incredible array of palaces, a cathedral, and other architectural marvels and do so all within an easy stroll within the delightful Old Town area.
