Sabira was content in her life, hiding her identity, living in peace with her brother, and helping her drunken father along. She was successful in evading the council - who never liked her in the first place - and was so close to finding her way to freedom. But when the king calls a conjuror must answer and after accidentally releasing the most dangerous conjuror the world has ever known from his prison, Sabira is tasked with keeping him in line.
A task that's easier said than done when the conjurer has eyes that make her melt and a moral obligation to cause harm. She's never met anyone as dangerous as him and he's never met anyone as fatal as her.
Can she prevent war while maintaining her anonymity? Will she be able to save the people she loves?
Only time will tell.
