Sacred means to be connected with God or dedicated to a religious purpose and deserves great respect. Sacred Hart's only goal in life is to keep her head above water when all odds are stacked against her. After escaping an abusive relationship and losing her mother, her heart turns cold, but she wants to live her life the best way she can, despite the betrayal and hurt she's experienced. When a terrible day at work leads her to meet the infamous Lorenz Kendrick, she finds herself fearful of the mystery man, however, she cannot seem to forget him, no matter how hard she tries.
