Born and bred in Danbury, CT, Frank Acri was educated at Immaculate High School and did both his undergraduate and graduate work at Western CT State College (University). Now retired, Frank spends as much of his time as he can in service to others. He is a volunteer at The Dorothy Day Hospitality House; serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Danbury Old Timers Athletic Association; and is a Eucharistic Minister for Saint Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, The Charter Senior Living Center, and Danbury Hospital. Frank is an active member of Connecticut Against Gun Violence. Frank is the author of
