Tamara Martin and Shemika Miller have always been the best of friends, despite what Tamara's mother told her about Shemika. Tamara and her mother were watching TV on the couch, when someone knocked on the door. Tamara had no idea that answering her front door that Friday night for her best friend Shemika and her one-year-old son Calvin, would change her life forever, but it did. Tamara is there to come to Shemika's rescue, as any friend would do but she had no idea that helping her friend would come back to bite her as it did and she is left hurt and heartbroken.
