Metamorphosis of Maniyan the Donkey

Maniyan, the protagonist, is a lively donkey who has yet to start the best phase of his life. Though uncertain about his true purpose, life takes him on an unexpected journey of growth and evolution. Maniyan finally reunites with his long-time love, Kanakam, and elopes to a forest to start a new life. He starts taking up various labor-intensive jobs to sail through their life, but soon grows bored and runs away from his responsibilities. However, Maniyan realizes very soon that he cannot live without Kanakam and returns, promising her a beautiful life. Determined to find meaning, he becomes a counselor and a guide in the forest. His wisdom gains recognition, and he is encouraged to run in the elections. Surprisingly, he defeats the reigning King Lion and becomes the new ruler of the forest. This heartwarming episode of Maniyan's life showcases his rigorous transformation, as he grows into someone he never imagined he could become.
