Are there words or messages you wish you had heard from a parent or a teacher? Are there things you know should have been shared with a loved one but were never said? I do. During a meditation, I was encouraged to reflect on the moment I met my mom at my birth. What conversation would I have had with her? This led me to think about other conversations I would like to have had. I share them here. I also created poems to express my thoughts about experiences I had throughout my life. I encourage you to read through my letters and poetry and then write your letters. Who did you not get to hear from? Who do you wish you could speak to? What does your soul want you to know about yourself? Grab a notebook or journal and something to write with. Read whichever letter or poem in this book calls out to you. Then, write a letter saying what you need to hear from someone, or from your soul. Maybe you share them, perhaps you burn them, and, most certainly, you heal.
