Jimmy, Lance, and a Second Chance !

Jimmy and Lance, a border collie, immediately become best friends. Trouble is, when he's not enjoying his time with Jimmy, Lance must keep doing what he's done his entire life--live outside all alone on his owner's property. Upset by the dog's situation, Jimmy pleads with his mom, "We gotta help Lance!"

Working together, Jimmy and his mother, Margaret, pull off a dog rescue and move with Lance to another town. There, they discover Lance is a troubled dog that can't be trusted to behave. Despite being bitten by Lance, Jimmy's mother remains as determined as her son to give the dog a better life.
