As the bartender at an exclusive lounge in the American Thalum-an offshore domed community where the vast majority of the North and South American population now reside, after an alien race known as the Hapnu shared their technology with humanity and taught them how to heal the earth from its past abuses-Noah Martin was accustomed to a certain amount of chaos. But nothing could've prepared him for the day a beautiful, mysterious woman called Ada linked her mind to his. Unbeknownst to him, Ada entrusts Noah with a mind vault, the key to her employers' most guarded secret, right before she's attacked. Suddenly, Noah is the target of Demacia, a powerful mercenary group bent on stopping him from delivering Ada's secret to the right hands.

Luckily, a rival mercenary group, Ivory Point, steps in to help him. As Noah learns how to navigate his newfound powers, and how to stay alive in the high-speed, life-or-death world of mercs, his quest takes him from Earth all the way to Mars. Along the way, Noah and the ragtag team that makes up Ivory Point learn what's at stake: embedded in Noah's mind is the key to awakening a scientist who can heal humanity from the plague that's been dogging them for years.
