Max & Ollie's Guide to Baseball

Created by Stephanie Montgomery, wife of MLB pitcher Mike Montgomery, 'Max & Ollie's Guide to Baseball' is a children's book for young baseball lovers, and soon-to-be baseball lovers! Join Max as he brings his best friend, Ollie the Aussie, to the ballpark for a day of fun! They'll learn the basic rules of the game, and why baseball is the best game of all.

A portion of the proceeds from every book sold go to charitable organizations supporting women and children via the Montgomery's family fund, Monty's Marvels.

The book is illustrated by John Steven Gurney - the author and illustrator of the graphic novel Fuzzy Baseball and the picture book Dinosaur Train. He has illustrated over 140 chapter books, including the A to Z Mysteries, the Bailey School Kids, and The Calendar Mysteries series. He has illustrated board games, advertising, posters, puzzles, and a shopping bag for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
