When the gospel first arrived in Uganda in 1875 (no, not is 1877!) it was received with great joy. It was also spread by Ugandan missionaries travelling by foot across mountains and by canoe across lakes.
In this book, we will explore the lives and legacies of Ugandans who were pioneers in bringing the Good News to places and people who had never heard it. We will discover the stories of Ugandan missionaries who became ambassadors of the gospel all across East Africa, into the rest of the continent, and in fact into the farthest parts of the world.
